Sarah applied for a widow's pension on Joseph Chadds military service, 28 MAY 1894 in Ripley MO. Eli and Martha Armes were her witnesses on the petition. Elias Stone JP, signed the marriage license. She states her maiden name was Simon. Her marriage license in 1879 to Joseph Chadd has her name as Sarah Morgan.
