Guess I'm a bit of late on this posting but just wanted to add that I too have a copy of "South of the Cottonwood Tree" written by my great aunt Hallie Myers Nelson. Looks live we are related as I am a descendant of Johnathan Myers, my great great grandfather is Harmer E. Myers, son of Lambert P. Myers. I have also been trying to find more information on Johnathan and his lineage but not having much luck. Anyway it has been interesting reading these posts on the Myers family and finding other relatives. Would appreciate any additional information. Thanks.
