Hello,
I have learned that all 3 Benham children were on an Orphan Train to Plainview, Pierce Co., Nebraska arriving Oct 8, 1909. These were John V. Benham, Jeanette Benham, and Archibald B. Benham. They were placed with different families that night but none of them remained with those families. Archibald did remain in Plainview, Nebraska not Plainview, Long Island, as originally thought. I do think Jeanette was in Iowa in 1915 but don't know where she was living or with whom. It would be nice to find out. All I have is an index card with her name on it in 1915. I have been told that all the children moved about into many different states as they grew up.Also that Jeanette married a taxi driver in Detroit at some point. So hard to trace people who moved so much.
thanks for any help
