Thanks for the tip to your excellent website. My Minerva Whitacre seems to be the same as yours, born 19 Dec 1850, Montgomery Co., IN and married to John Calvin Summers b. 25 Apr 1845. I don't believe I know as much as you do about them. They intersect with the Nash family in that John Calvin Summers was a brother to my Great-grand-father, Isaac Washington Summers (who married Emily Jane Laughrey, dau. of Harriet Nash and John Calvin Laughrey). I plan on exploring your site more very soon. I do admire the easy arrangement and clarity of the programming. I look forward to our having much more to share in the near future.
As for the REED name, Sarah Ellen Laughrey, b. 30 Mar 1847 Licking Co., OH married a "Sike" Reed 30 Jan 1868, but I don't know any more about this couple at present. Sarah Ellen was dau. of John Calvin Laughrey married to Harriet Nash, dau. of John Nash of Ashburnham, Sussex, Eng.
