I see that McMains was a name listed in your Subject line. I am trying to find information on the Anna (Remmark)& Robert McMains family. They are buried in the Indianapolis cemetery, Mahaska County.

Also, I see you mentioned MAUCH CHUNK (or MAUCK CHUNK), Mahaska County, Iowa. Does anyone have information on that town, since I haven't had much luck in finding anything other then the place that the town was named after? My grandfather, Robert Steinke Sr was born there and supposedly went to school there in the late 1890's. His parents, Gottlieb & Rosalie (Kietzmann)Steinke lived on a farm near there until around 1902.
