Surnames: Southerland/Sutherland/Sutherlin/Southerlin
I have found these surnames on the 1810, 1820 and 1830 Census records in Bracken Co., KY.
To be exact I am searching for my 3rd Great Grandfather's brother who was named Jesse SOUTHERLAND, as named in their father's will in 1823 in Halifax, Virginia.
1810 Census has Jesse SOUTHERLIN, age 26-45 in Bracken Co., KY
1820 Census has Jesse (Jefse)Southerlane, age 26-45 in Bracken Co., KY
1830 Census names Phillip SOUTHERLAND, age 20-30 in Bracken Co., KY
Does anyone have an idea about these gentlemen or where they came from or where they may have relocated?
