Carl B. Deaton, 55, of Altro, KY passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at his residence. He was the son of the late David and Cora Noble Deaton. He was a former welder.
Survivors include his wife Clara Vires Deaton of Altro; three sons Steven W. Deaton and Shawn Deaton both of Cincinnati, OH; Tony Carl Deaton of Shandon, OH; two step-sons Billy Joe Barrett of Longs Creek, KY; Bobby Joe Barrett of Altro; three brothers Wilgus Deaton and Ricky Deaton both of Jackson; Lewis Deaton of OH; seven sisters Treva Vires of Chavies, KY; Patty Baker of Gays Creek, KY; Glenna Baker of Lost Creek, KY; Tresa Deaton of Bulan, KY; Vera Rice of Beattyville, KY; Zola Office of OH; Lola Watts of Lost Creek and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Janice Deaton and Sandra Deaton and brothers Earl, Meril-David Alford Deaton.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 29, 2006 at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Turner and Rev. Ed Baker officiating. Burial followed in the Vires Cemetery, Longs Creek, KY. Watts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were friends and family.
