Have a branch of Horine family in Bullitt Co, KY from 1790 -1950's. This line married into the Beghtol and McNutt families once or twice although I did not follow each descendant lne forward more than a generation or so. Can I help in any way?

I am interested in information about the following families in and around Bullitt County, Kentucky. Snellen, Beghtol, Whitsides, Horine, and Paulley

I am descended Elizabeth Horine and Henry Beghtol, my g-g-g-grandparents. My g-grandmother on that line was Anna Emma Beghtol who married Richard Clayton Whitesides. The McNutt connection is Martha E. (Mattie) McNutt who married my g-grandfather, James Franklin Snellen.

I have very little info on the McNutt line. I have quite a bit on the Beghtol line and some on the Horine line. I am looking for any info on ancestors or descendants. Any info would be appreciated.

I am researching the Clark family for a friend and found a Horine connection that you may or may not be interested in.
Kitchell Clark, son of Aden and Elizabeth (Price) Clark married Lucinda Horine in BULLITT County 7 December 1852. Kitchell Clark joined Company F, 28th Kentucky Infantry (Union) and was killed about 17 June 1864. Lucinda (Horine) Clark (born ca 1836) died some time in 1862. She was the daughter of Samuel Horine and Wilmoth Harshfield Horine.
Kitchell and Lucinda Horine Clark had four children:
John Henry Clark b. 26 Feb 1854
Lewis Wesley Clark b. 13 June 1856
William Sidney Clark b. 13 May 1859
Wilmoth Elizabeth Clark 1 Jan 1862

They were taken care of by their paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother during the war. James Horine, I believe, their uncle, became their guardian in 1866. I found most of this information in the Civil War pension record of Kitchell Clark, dec'd.

Thanks for the info. Samuel Horine, whom you mentioned, was
the youngest brother of my gggr-grandfather Henry Horine.
His wife, Wilmoth Harshfield Horine is burried in a cemetery
across the road from the McAllister homeplace in Jefferson Co, KY. This family is not in my "direct" line but helps fill in some gaps on the family that I did not previously have filled. Thanks again.....cheri
