Hi! I know this is an old message so you probably have tons of info by now but I recently found the will of John Dunn (William Thompson was the Admr.) and I just thought it was very interesting because it lists his 14 slaves by name as well as the fact that Sara inherited two of them.

Judge William Rose Thomson was married to Sarah Dunn, daughter of John Dunn and Amy Burks Dunn of Bullitt Co. They are buried at the Dunn family cemetery in Shepherdsville. Mrs. Thompson's oldest brother was Chief Justice Charles Dunn of Wisconsin. His daughter, Catherine, was the wife of Nelson Dewey, the first state governor. Amy Burks Dunn is the daughter of John Burks Sr. who brought his family from Virginia. John Dunn was born in Dublin, Ireland. Two of our relatives are also researching the family. If I may be of further assistance, please let me know. I can e-mail copies of documents.

Jerrine,
Do you know the father of Valentine Thompson? Did he descend from the Catholic line?
Your help is appreciated.
