I am looking for any info on James Lochard or any of the
above surname variations. I believe he was born abt 175? in
Scotland. He married Mary Hicks (Or above surname variations)
d/o George Hicks* a large land owner in Cumberland Co.Pa.
Abt 1810 James Lochard (a Rev. War solider) moved his
family to Kentucky. And later settled in Jefferson Co.Indiana
According to a S/o James, James died abt 1815 and was
buried near the mouth of Locust Creek Kentucky. I have
since learned that because of location comparing with Son's
bio that this is Locust Creek located in Carrollton Kentucky
Any info on his life/death (is Mary buried with him?) etc.
