Another online Family genealogy bookstore is born and they are pretty good in the way they market their products. Beside the fact that they have very high quality products, they have a perfect bound soft cover and a hardback format of the rarest books available to researchers, their books are cheap compared to other online bookstore but what make them unique is that they send you with each book order the searchable pdf format on a CD of the book that you order and the CD also contains their catalog. I am a critique for an online blog and I shall not say its name here and I must say that they are very impressive.

I ordered a couple of books from them and I was very pleased with their service and their product.

I know that I sound like I am trying to promote them but I am just trying to give them what is due to them, acknowledgment.

I've just heard from another researcher that you are interested in Sophronia Whited. She was my husband's grandmother but we don't know very much about her, or which family of Whiteds in Kentucky she belonged to. I wish we did. You know Sophronia was supposed to have Indian blood?
She was very young when she became Robert Rayburn's third wife, and after having Ernest and Jess[my husband's father] and Bessie, she ran away.
Ernest stayed in Ky, and married a Lilian Ming, but I don't think there were any children. Bessie married someone called Bloyd. Jess married Ettabelle Fellers.
We live in England so it's very hard to do research. Hope I've helped though. If you do know what happened to her, we'd love to know if she was ok.

I have a marriage bond on Henry C. Wilson and Mary P.
Rexroat on Jan. 24, 1882 and Elijah Wilson signed the bond.
My Wilsons is from Casey Co. and Jamestown or Russell Springs Ky. Im also trying to find my grandmothers parents
her name was Allie Bell Wilson born in Casey Co KY and her
parents are Thomas Wilson and Sarah Pritchett or Pritchard.

It is my wife that is the same generation as you, I think.
Your Lindsey Brange Dye was a brother to my wifes GG. Grandfather, Arkillus Dye, who married Mary Prsilla Roy, they had 1 child, Charles Madison Dye. Charles, (Charlie) married Mattie Pearlie Ginn, one of their children was Iva Magdalene Dye, my wifes mother.

JOsephine McDaniel was my GGG Grandmother on my moms side.
She and John had a son named Lindsey B Dye who married Jarusha Dick and had a daughter Lerie Belle Dye, she married George Dennis (Dennie) Dye and had a son named Velmer whos my grandfather.
Josephine McDaniels parents were Spence McDaniel and Deila Spears.
Spears, Dye, Dick, Phelps, Randolph,Jasper are all popular last names in Pulaski County, KY you'll notice thier still inter mixed over the years

Coffman-Johnson-Downs info & marriages needed

I've seen old messages that someone could look up Casey Co, KY marriages.

I need a marriage record for Mary "Mollie" Coffman-? and Henry Thomas "Tom" Johnson...abt 1900-1901. I, also, need an earlier marriage record for Mary "Mollie" Coffman and an unknown spouse....abt 1895.

Mary was born abt 1869, the daughter of John R. Coffman and Elizabeth Hafley.....also, need a death date on John & Elizabeth.

Mary's middle name is unknown to me at this time. She is listed on the census as Mary F., Mary K. & Mollie M.

On the 1910 Casey Co census she is listed as Mollie M., age 38. It is her second marriage, and son, Hugh Lee ?, is listed as a Johnson, but he isn't a Johnson, unless Mary was married to a Johnson the first time as well. I'm trying to determine whom was Hugh Lee's father. He went by Johnson, but that wasn't his real name. One of his granddaughters thought he might be a Clarkston, or Peyton, but she didn't know for sure.

Also, Hugh Lee ?-Johnson's headstone has a birth date of 1903. That can't be right. He's 14 on the 1910 census, although, I know the math didn't mean much on the census records sometimes. A draft card registration has a birth date of 21 Jun 1896, which would make more sense.

Hugh Lee ?-Johnson married Lue Ella "Lueller" Downs abt 1926-27...I need this marriage info as well. Also, I need to know if anyone knows the middle name of Lue Ella's father, Turner C. Downs....and whom were Turner C. Downs' parents?

Has anyone found Mary "Mollie" Coffman-? and Hugh Lee ? on the 1900 census? They seem to have disappeared that year.

I seem to have more questions than answers, and any help on this family would be greatly appreciated.

My great grandmother was Mary (nee Barlow) Fogarty Morris born in England. Her sister Elizabeth married Thomas W. Taylor. Elizabeth, Thomas and 3 children (1 of them was born in Wales) came to the U.S.A They lived and had more children in Worcester MA. After some years went by Thomas left Worcester & moved to Ohio where 1 or 2 of his sons resided. He left his wife Elizabeth behind. Any relation? My greatgrandmother Mary stayed & died in England.

Did your Thomas, William and John Kenny move to the USA and land in New York City? My John Kenny moved to USA, then NYC, NY, then to Jersey City NJ. My John Kenny married a Jane Kennedy, who was from somewhere in Ireland.

Jackie, do you have any Elkins Murphy in your line? I have lost the clues to Taylors and I think it was in this line. I am still looking for my gr. grandfather Noah Taylor's line. The given name Paralee has been repeated in my Taylor family. The two families were from that same area in Casey County.

Per another researchers posting on the Internet's World Connect Project, Priscilla's father was Thomas Pemberton , born circ 1760 in Va. No mention of wife's name. Had daughter named Priscilla, born 1786 in Va.,who married Edward Mills and lists 2 children: Malinda Mills (1816-1900) and Mariam Mills (1813 in N.C., died 1867 in Casey Co.). Hello, I am also researching the Fox family from Casey County Kentucky. My grandfather was Estel B. Fox born 1908 in Casey County. I believe he had a brother or half brother named Albert Earl Fox who moved to/near Cincinnati. I had an aunt who lived near him and called him uncle Al. If this is the same Albert Earl Fox, I believe his father's name was Jesse P. Fox. Jesse, was married first to an Eva Hiter, I believe this was my grandfathers mother as well. My family history reports, verbal only, I cannot find anything in print, indicates that Eva was murdered by Jesse. He went to the pen but was remarried sometime near 1920. I am really stuck regarding anything else. If you have information to share I would love to correspond with you.
