Lincoln “Abe” Coffey, age 61, of Canmer, died Sunday, Nov. 1 at his residence in Canmer, Ky. He was employed by Cumberland Products and attended Caveland Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Aurthur Coffey and the late Mary McKinney Coffey. He is survived by his wife, Alice Coffey, two daughters, Gail Gutierrez of Glasgow, Ky.; Laura Armes of Smiths Grove, Ky.; one son, Chris Coffey of Glasgow, Ky.; two sisters, Shirley Bryant of Horse Cave; Genevieve Finn of Glasgow; three brothers, William “Fats” Coffey of Greensburg; Carlos Jay Coffey of Summersville; Roger Coffey of Glasgow; five children and several special nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday Nov. 3 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Nov. 4 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Cosby Cemetery in Horse Cave.
