Jason Bell - Land in Franklin Co, VA
Know all by these presents that we William Bell, Jason Bell, Sarah Bell of the County of Madison and State of Kentucky, heirs and representatives of James Bell dead, late of Franklin County, Virginia, have constituted Philip Cunningham of Franklin County, State of Virginia, our true and ___ __ of Frederick River Thos Douglas, administrator of the said James Bell deceased, all monies, debts, accounts, and property whatever to which we or either of us are entitled and also to sell a certain tract or parcel of land which the said James Bell deceased both of James Bell in the county of Franklin containing one hundred and fifty acres and we hereby authorize and impower our said attorney to institute suit and obtain all lands whatever belonging to or coming to the same James Bell deceased, late of the county aforesaid and also ask and demand of the administrators of their deceased Grandfather Beesley all lands, Negroes, and properties of every description, to institute any suit or suits to obtain what is due or to become due from our deceased father James Bell or from our deceased grandfather Beasley, or from any other person or persons who is or my be indebted to us as heirs and representatives of the said James Bell deceased from any person whatever in whose hands or possession it may have come and we hereby empower our said Attorney to execute receipts or grant acceptances of the same and we further empower our said Attorney to do all and every act whatever may be necessary to obtain any of our right which either of us could do were we present in person and acting ourselves hereby ratifying and confirming all and everything that our said Attorney may lawfully do in the premises as fully as tho we were personally present and doing the same in our own and proper person.

I David Irvine Clerk of the Court for the County aforesaid do hereby certify that this Power of Attorney from William Bell, Jason Bell, Sarah Bell to Philip Cunningham was produced to me in my office on the 14th day of April 1821 and acknowledged by the said William, Jason and Sarah to be their acts and deeds
for the purposes therein expressed.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my _____ and affixed the seal of my said office this 14th day of April 1821 and in the XXIX year of the Commonwealth.
