I'm looking for any info on the formation of the community of Tiptop. It was once a booming town of over 50 families, there was a school, commissary store, and a coal tipple. They are all gone today. Would like to know how to acquire info about this place and it's history. Who were it's first settlers, how did the name come about, and etc. I lived there for 5 years and just outside of it at the end of Carver for 14 years. Photos would also be great. Also was wondering if anybody had any ghost stories of this place or nearby areas. Thanks for any help.
