Mrs. Mary Ann King died Tuesday night at her home near Speck after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Mt. Zion church by Rev. Mosely, with burial in the family cemetery. She was a native of North Carolina, having been born there on April 15, 1865. She was united in marriage to John King, 58 years ago, he having preceded her in death 17 years ago. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of God having joined this church five years. She is survived by three sons: James King, Taylor County; Harvey King, Ashland, Ill.; Kelly King, Columbia; four daughters: Mrs. Ida Barr, Mrs. Lizzie Carroll, Mrs. Etta Greer, all of Adair County; Mrs. Clyde Graybeal, Taylor County; one brother: David Farmer of North Carolina; 34 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
