Who was James Dixon? I know he was an ORB (Old Regular Baptist) preacher, but I would like to know more about him. He must have preached in SE Kentucky, probably Letcher or Harlan County. I have a composite picture of 14 ORB preachers which was compiled around 1930, and it says, "Blessed are the Dead Who Die in the Lord." There are many preachers in the Dixon family of Harlan County, but I can't find this man. There was a James Dixon who was pastor of Oven Fork Baptist in 1867; is this the one? If so, did he have a family? Who were his parents? Wife? Children?
