Looking for Swedish ancestors who came to New Sweden Aroostock County around 1884-1886. Johanna Monson with her daughters, Ellen, Carrie and Mary Persson (or Persdotter). Johanna remarried Kristian Rosen I believe in New Sweden and lived there until she died in 1912. Her husband Kristian Rosen died in 1916. Ellen married Charles (Carl) Thorsen and they had 7 children,Herman,Harold, Edgar(Carl)
Mildred,Evelyn,Harry,and Robert. They lived in New Sweden or Caribou.Anyone have any info? Maine census records seem very hard to come by.

EMIGRATED from Knestorp 2, Västra Vram parish,Skåne to America in the company of
PER SVENSSON her husband, born 6/12/1836 in Huaröd, Skåne
SVEN PERSSON SVENSSON her son, born 10/25/1876 in Våstra Vram, Skåne
ELNA PERSDOTTER SVENSSON her daughter born 10/6/1870 in Sönnarslov, Skåne
KJERSTI PERSDOTTER SVENSSON her daughter born 1872 (no month or day or place of birth available)
and a 4th child born 2/4/1881 in Vram, Skåne - name not listed.
Johanna's second husband
CHRISTIAN ANDERSSON ROSéN was born in Önnestad, Skåne and emigrated to America from Västra Vram, Skåne to America on 5/1/1871. He died 10/9/1916 and is buried in the New Sweden, Maine cemetery.
The information above came from the Swedish Clerical Survey Records of their home parish in Sweden and the New Sweden, Maine burial records.
I will be happy to look up additiional information on this family if you like, after I hear back from you and you supply me with any additional information you may have. I am sorry, but I mostly do only first and second generation American births of Swedish Parents (Northern Maine) and research in Sweden on emigrants that left Sweden and went to Maine or their families that stayed in Sweden.
