Are you still looking for information on Carl August Jacobson? I believe I might have something of interest for you. I think I have a copy of a newspaper article about him that I would be willing to copy and mail to you. I also can give you the information in the New Sweden Burial records. I probably also have a picture of his cemetery stone in New Sweden ( I photographed every stone in that cemetery last summer) . If you in turn have more information about him and his family to pass on I would be very greatful.
Also just some added information for now - the emibas emigration record shows his birth date as November 2, 1844. His wife Johanna Ulrika Gillen was born in Uppsala on July 4, 1835. They emigrated from Uppsala on April 4, 1871. I hope to hear from you or anyone else interested in this family.
