I was wondering if you could look in the same book for me. I DO NOT know for a fact that my family is in there. I am looking for the Brown family (Elisha Sr. & Jr., Elias, Albert, Chester, etc.). Mostly around Caribou and Woodland. can you help?

Hi my name is Panda. i am a family member of the browns you are looking for. Elishia Sr is a great great grandfather to me and Eishia Jr is a great grandfather to me. I would love any information you have. I am mainly looking for PROOF of who Elisha Brown, Sr. parents were. Also, would love information on your line. I have birth and death dates for Kenneth Brown, but no places or marriage info. Don't have info on his children, either. Also, any pictures you may have would be wonderful. Elisha Brown Sr., parents were Elias Brown born about 1795 in Providence of Quebec, Canada (taken from Elisha Brown's death certificate.) and elizabeth Porter born about 1800 in New Brunswick , Canada.
Elisha Brown Sr. was my Great Grandfather.
I have more info on elisha, His wife was Tallie (Natalie or perhaps Stella. She is always recorded and was called Tallie) i have a list of all their childre. I have done quite a bit of recearch on the Brown's. Kenneth Brown was my Uncle I have his dates and that of his wife mabel Mc Laughlin and their children. Contact me at nrg1957 @cfl.r.com. My Father was Chester Brown son of Albert Brown and Nellie Jordan. ( Nellie and Albert were divorced and Nellie married elisha Brown Jr. Brother of Albert. Albert was married three times.

Who were the parents of Elias Brown? Did your Brown family have any connection with New Brunswick? Do you know the parents of Elizabeth Porter?

After seeing this post regarding the BROWN family in Aroostook, I was wondering if you might know of an Elizabeth A. Brown, born about 1826 in New Brunswick. She died after the 1880 census in Aroostook County, Maine; probably in Presque Isle, since that is where her husband died. Elizabeth married George W. McGuire about 1847, prob. in New Brunswick since their first two children, Alonzo and Darius were born there. The other six children were born in Maine; the last 3 of those in Castle Hill Plantation. I do not know who Elizabeth's parents were, and I am hoping that you might know of this family?

Elias Brown and Elizabeth Porter had a daughter named Elizabeth born 1834 . I do not know if this is the Elizabeth you are looking for.

I wish that was the same Elizabeth, but I don't think it was. The dau. of Elias & Elizabeth Porter was born in 1937, but the Elizabeth Brown I am seeking was born about 1826..that is a pretty large gap...more than just a couple of years. Thank you for responding and trying to help me out.

Look at your dates again. You say you think your Elizabeth was born 1826. I gave you Elizabeth birth date 1834. This is a difference of 8 years. I don't think you would have two (2) Elizabeth Porters and Elias Brown at that time.
