I am researching James Godfrey. He was born in Worchester County, MD on January 12, 1762. He died in Knox County, Illinois on November 2 1847. He married Keziah Williams, born in Sussex County, DE on March 8, 1770 and died in Knox County on October 13, 1846.

Sometime during the early 1800s, they moved to Pickaway County, OH and then on to Knox County Illinois in the 1830s.

I have been able to loosely identify approximately 5 children: Peter, Enoch, Sophia, Joseph and Eleanor.

I am primarily interested in the parents of James Godfrey, but any information would be welcome. If any of this sounds vaguely familiar, I'd love to hear from you.
