This is an update on my research. Information passed down through the family lists Josiah Harvey as the father to Agnes. The Harvey Book by Oscar Jewell Harvey lists a Josiah Harvey b abt 1699 to Thomas Harvey and Mary Huckins (see pgs 44-5) probably in Taunton, MA. Thomas was descended from the two Harvey brothers, Thomas and William, both settlers in Taunton in 1638. The brothers came from England in 1636. Records for Taunton were destroyed in a fire. Oscar J Harvey complied the history from whatever sources he could find and published in 1899. Mary Huckins was actually Mary Woodward. She was an orphan by age 5 and probably lived with a Huckins or Hutchins family. She was born in 1687 which moves Josiah's birth to abt 1705. Assuming Agnes was his daughter by his first wife, Agnes would have been born abt 1723. Josiah married Dorcas Woodward in 1737. I can find no other Josiah Harveys in New England of the age to have fathered Agnes.
If you are interested, the Harvey Book is digitized online and I will gladly share more of my findings.
