The Ships manifest has it sailing from Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel on October 18,1912.

Hi
There were ships arriving in Boston. On Ancestry.com, there is a list of Boston Passenger Ships. You may have to be a member to obtain the information, but you can use the name to see if any results exist.
Happy hunting!

I was always told my GG Grandfather came over on a whaling ship as a boy from Pico. We just found out he came over on a passenger ship from Liverpool, UK, If you have his or her exact name contact or visit Mass. archives, give the name and they have passenger ship manifests. That's how we found out. Oh and we also found out almost 30 yrs. later he became a lifesaver so had to be a citizen so he became one {Fed. archives in Waltham. This wasn't easy as he took someone elses name. His death certicate revealed his Dad's name. Good-luck
