Hi George,
My family tree is a bit confused, my father’s name was Cahill and my mother’s maiden name was also Cahill, all from South Boston.
So I will try to sort this out and hope that we have a match somewhere.
The Lynch’s were on my mother’s side.McCarthy is also on my mother’s side.

Desmond is on my father’s side.I don’t have a Frederick. Are John and Helen’s last name Bench?
Please let me know if any of this fits in.
Regards,Elizabeth

McCarthys, Lynch, Cahill, etc.

I do not have cahills in my tree, yet!
My lynchs mccarthys are on my grandmothers side. They all lived on the same street as the Cahills in South Boston. East Eighth Street. I still live in South Boston. I also do volunteer work at the Mass. State Archives so if you have specific questions in the City of Boston maybe I can look it up for you.

Lynch and Mc Carthy

Hi George,
My Lynchs were the following:
William F. Lynch and Mary Glynnis who had a son,
Charles Francis Lynch-May 13,1878 married to Florence Mary Bordman. Florence Mary Bordman/Boardman’s mother was Mary Mc Carthy.

Charles and Florence had the following children:
Florence Katherine married to Charles Edmund Cahill (my grandparents)
Charles Francis Lynch, Jr. married to a Margaret
Agnes Genevieve married to Dr. Folke Wiklund
Eileen married to Harold Penney
Alice married to Kenneth Prentiss
Charles Francis Lynch was supposedly the Lightweight boxing champion of NE, I assume that is New England and he also won a boxing cup from the Boston Athletic Association for a boxing event on Jan. 30, 1897. He worked at the Gillette Safety Razor Company, which was located at 15 West First Street, Boston, 6, MA
What Cahill’s are or were on East Eighth Street?
What a neat thing to do, volunteering at the Mass. State Archives, I would love to do that. I have written them enough letters for information; they are probably getting tired of hearing from me by now. I have to tell you, I wouldn’t have gotten as far as I have without them. Thanks so much for the offer, I have a puzzle that I am trying to figure out and I would love to ask your opinion on it.
Regards,
Elizabeth

None of the lynch's you listed are in my tree, yet. They were probably cousins to my side. If you need lookups at Mass ARchives let men know at geows662@aol.com. I may be going over there on Thrusday. Are you in Mass?
