Ressie D. Depke, 86, a resident of Albuquerque most of her life, died Wednesday, April 1, 1998. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Willis Depke; niece, Kay Collier and husband, George of Portland, OR; nephew, Ernest Hyer and wife, Margaret of Colorado Springs, CO; cousin, Loyce Fullingim and husband, Wayland of Albuquerque; and numerous dear friends. Mrs. Depke was born April 23, 1911 to Delbert Hyer and Nellie Horton Hyer at Hyer, NM, where her family homesteaded. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Jaime Quinones officiating. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, New Mexico Affiliate, 1330 San Pedro NE, Suite 105, 87110. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
