I am looking for a family by the name of McGraw who served in Frederick Visscher's regiment under General Nicholas Herkimer in the Battle of oriskany. I am almost positive through my research Christopher McGraw is the father. In the William Johnson papers it is stated his daughter, Mary, was left some property in Sir William Johnson's will. I need to find out about the sons, if they are his sons. John, Daniel, Dennis, William McGraw are all listed in Visscher's regiment. I believe they are all brothers and Christopher is the father. If not, I need to know historically their linkage and part in the Battle. I am working on a story about the Battle of Oriskany and am centering a part of my story around John McGraw. I can't find anything on him in the sources I have. If anyone can help me, please e-mail me. I would surely love the help locating the information on the McGraw family!
