Hi,
I'm not sure if we have talked before but I am also descended from Mary Mahala Buckalew and Chauncey Cole through their daughter Harriet Cole. I have some documents about a Chauncey Cole who was in the Mexican war, but not much else. I think he may have died since his wife remarried Jacob Shigley.
