I believe that my ggg grandfather Benjamin Weatherwax's parents may have lived in or around Schenectady County. I know Benjamin was born in 1801 or 1803. His father was born around 1779. Benjamin married Lovica Ford in Herkimer County around 1824. This is where they lived the remainder of their lives. I don't know when he came to Herkimer County. They had 8 children. These included Mary Ann, Andrew, Margaret, Benjamin, Charles, Catharine, Cornelia, and my gg grandfather James Weatherwax. I would appreciate any information anyone has on the Weatherwax family.
