Classification: Lookup
Surnames: Williams, Turner
Hello,
I am seeking more information/verification of the marriage of my 3rd great-grandfather William C. Williams b. 1831 d. 1914. Married Sina/Lucinda Turner sometime in 1874. She was b. abt. 1842 in New York.
I am unsure exactly where they were married, but am almost positive it was in schoharie somewhere because I find them on every census for that county beginning 1850-1910. I would like to find an index or something with them listed to verify this marriage date and a place.
An added bonus would also be to find their burial places in the same county or surrounding areas. William's father, David W. Williams was the son of the captor of Major Andre (David Williams. I can find the burials of both of these David's in Schoharie but not the burials for William and Sina.
William apparently died in 1914, he is last listed in a census in 1910 for Cobleskill.
Sina apparently died in 1909, and is last seen on a 1905 census collection for Broome (which is where I find them previously without problem).
Any information on the marriage and or burial for William & Sina is greatly appreciated!
Angelique
