Richard, I did find VanSandvoord at your website - the name only... and I did NOT find van Santfort.
Cornelis van Santvoord b. 1696 in Leyden I call the "Clergy Santvoords" - married into the Staat family, etc.
That is not my family, and am having trouble connecting my Santforts/Sandfords/Sanfords to any parents. Two brothers, in separate properties in Acquackanonk Twp, Essex County, NJ One brother was listed on the "1755 List of Freeholders of Essex County", though the other brother was not listed... I have nothing about them earlier. Assuming there was an age requirement to be named a Freeholder, I believe the older brother must have been born by 1734, and younger brother by 1736.
If you see something there, I will be happy to follow up on your wisdom! Patricia
