Seeking info on this family's roots. Allen Vanderhoof was born in Newark, Wayne Co. NY in 1836. He moved to Michigan by 1868, perhaps abandoning a wife in NY. I believe his father was Andrew Vanderhoof, born NY about 1805 and died in Arcadia 1857.
