John J. Freeman was born abt. 1849 in New York, USA. His parents were William R. Freeman from Canada and Violet (Viletty) Sturveysant (Studevant)from Vermont. Not sure where they were married in 1845 but oldest child was John born in New York. Siblings all born before 1860 and included Denford, Kilburn, Violet, and William G. Violet died as a 2 yr. old. Would like to track them between 1850 and 1870. Thanks for any help
Peggy

pilot.familysearch.org has US census between 1850-1920, some with images, others index only

Alos has NYS census for 1865, 1892 & 1905, 1892 is the only one indexed with images, the others are browsable

Good Luck
