I recently obtained a copy of Duplin County Marriage Records, 1755-1868, by Frances T. Ingmire, Iberian Publishing COmpany, Athens, GA.

The book provides a groom or a bride listing of those marriages listed in NC State Archives, and only shows the two names and date of marriage.
