The information I have of Abraham Absolum Roads is that he was born 7 Feb 1749 in Bethel, Pennsylvania and was baptized 18 March 1850 at The Great Swamp Reformed Congregational Church, Lower Milford Twp. Lehigh, Pennsylvania and that his sponsors were Abraham Kreide and Anna Maregaretha, from the Penn. German Church Records of the Penn. German Society Proceedings and Addresses. He died 7 Oct. 1823 or 1825. I have information that he married Anna Maria or Ann Mary /?/ in 1753 and married Barbara Funkhauser 2 Aug. 1786 in Shenandoah Co. Virginia. His children listed are: Catherine, Jacob, John, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Philip, Isaac, and David. I am interested in learning more about Abraham's parents Valintine Roads b. 1708 in Switzerland or Germany, and Maria Maregaretha. I am decended from their son, Valentine Roads b. 1752 Northampton County, Pennsylvania and fought in the American Revolution and died 21 Oct. 1846 Paint Twp. Highland, Ohio. I am wondering if the information I have of his wife being Catherine Brock (daughter of John Brock) is correct.
