Charles is my GGrandfather born in Sweden abt 1855 possibly December. Carl is Charles Johnson's son. Carl was born in Michigan, although I can not confirm Michigan, in Feb 8, 1907. My mother is Carl's daughter. Carl divorced my grandmother when my mother was younger than 5 years old. She remembers her father going to the west to visit relatives in Wisconsin, MN, and Oregon. I would think there are still relatives in this state somewhere that can relate to this info. He must of had some brother, cousins, or aunts or uncles that lived somewhere in that state to go that distance to visit with them. PLEASE check your family trees and help me out. Thank you RF
