SERENDIPITY: A photo of six teachers at the Hope Indian School, Pine Ridge, SD, taken on 28 Sept 1923, appears on pg. 246 of the Sept-Oct 1994 issue of the "Genealogical Helper" magazine. The only person identified in the group of five women and one gentleman was Node Mannix Carner. The photo was taken by the Rise Art Studio, Rapid City, SD.
Ms. Bonnie C. Rams, Las Vegas, NV, shared the photo. Her mother, Node Mannix Carner, appears on the far left in the checkered dress. Ms. Rams was wondering about the names of the other individuals. Please reference that issue for further details.
Hope this "snippet" serendipitously provides just the right clue to a researcher.
