Iam trying to locate where Joseph Edward Peters is buried. I found his first wife Annie M. Peters. She died on 7/10/1913. He had a son Clifton Allen Peters born on 1/24/1914. This means that he remarried in 1913. Iam trying to locate Clifton and some of his family for WWII research. Clifton Peters was my dad's Co. in WWII in Italy in 1944. I have not found Clifton in the SSDI. He last known rank was Lt. Col. in 1963. The Army lost contact with him in 1963. As an Army officer he would have drawn Army retirement and SS benefits. It is possible that he is still alive at about 90 years of age.
