I am searching for any information on August Geyer and his spouse, Louisa Heuchling, their ancestors, or descendants. August Geyer was born 13 Apr 1836 in Rudolstadt, Schwartzburg, Saxony, Germany. His family immigrated to Texas on the 17 Oct 1846. He was living in Castroville, Medina County, Texas by 1860. He married Louisa Heuchling 1 Jan 1861 in Castroville, Medina County, Texas. August had a blacksmith shop in Castroville. August and Louisa bought a farm and moved to Idlewild, Bexar County, Texas about 1885. August died 15 Sep 1894 and was buried on his farm. His grave was later moved to San Jose Cemetery, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. Louisa died 6 Apr 1932 in Cuero, DeWitt County, Texas. Louisa was buried in San Jose Cemetery also. They had 12 children: Edmund, Paulina, Edward, Herman, Mathilda, Bertha, William, Anna, Emma, Otto, Hedwig Theresa, and Albert.
