George Washington Rhymes is my GGG Grandfather, and I'm in the process of researching his migrations once he arrived in Texas. I've found land records for his family in Bandera County, and I'm also in possession of some transcribed oral history from one of his grand daughters which is what brought me to the Medina County message board. The transcription of oral history is a letter from Cammie Rhymes to a grand daughter, attempting to explain family history. It was written when Cammie was a very old lady and simply refers to "Medena, Texas" (sic). Given that I've already got census information and land records for the George Washington Rhymes Family in BANDERA County, I believe I've discovered their actual location in the state. I've been unable to find any traces of this family in Medina County records, but thought I'd post here and see if anyone else has any information on this family relating to Medina County.

I'd appreciate if anyone has information to share on them relating to Medina County.
