What you are needing is a map of Justice Precinct 7 from that timeframe. Contact both Wood and Hopkins counties for the departments that do deed records for maps.

The Waldrop's were listed in Lamar county in 1900 census, Precinct 7 west of Bee Bayou, came to Texas from Lee county, MS no later than 1889 -1890, based on marriage of Hattie Waldrop to Elihue Childers in 1890 unknown county.
