I've been tracing my Glovers in Northern Virginia in the 18th century and having modest success although there were lots of Glovers there, but none proven to be mine. DNA indicates that they were of Scottish descent, probably via Northern Ireland. I'm wondering if the Vermont Glovers were related to the Virginia ones, and if they came somehow from Scotland to New England and for some reason mine came from there to Virginia. Any thoughts.
