Need to jump in here, just found these messages. S. A. D. or Stephen Aaron Douglas McCann is my great-grandfather. He was born 12 April 1855 in Illinois. I believe father was Hamilton McCann, still working on that one. S. A. D. was married 3 times: first to Morning Orlena Ham on 15 Mar 1879 in Jefferson County, Ill., second to Martha E. Martin (my great-grandmother) on 29 Oct 1892 in Washington. They had 4 girls then 2 boys. They divorced in 1906. Married third to Josephine Reeder. He died in 1927 and she in 1935 and they are buried together in Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver, WA. As far as I know Stephen had no children with Orlena or Josephine. The Robert listed in the census with Stephen and Josephine is the son of Stephen, youngest brother to my grandmother. He was born in 1906. Hope this clears up some of your questions.
