I am not sure if we have the same GROOMS. Mine were in Appanoose Co., IA. Then moved on to Missouri and Washington. I have heard that There are some of my GROOMS in Washington, one I know of is Edna GROOM who married Maynard PEARSON. The other GROOMS are, parents, Peter and Martha "Mary", children, Sarah MCKIM, Nancy Jane FULLERTON, Joe, and Morrison. Do you know of any of these GROOMS

Dear Jo,
I have just started researching my Great Great Grandmother Cassandra Boone Whiteley. I am now on the road, and won't be back to my research for at least another month, but I would love to share information with you then. Cassandra Boone was the daughter of Lindsay Boone and Sarah. I had also just discovered that Cassandra had one sister who also came out to Washington. I have information about Cassandra coming out on a wagon train to Oregon from Missouri. I believe that Lindsay Boone and Sarah had only the two children and died young.Does that agree with the information you have? Thanks.

GYoungman,
I would like to hear more what information you have in your family tree. I am Cassandra Boone Whiteleys great great granddaughter. Perhaps we are related. I am a decendant of one of the sons of Cassandra and Frances Marion Whiteley. His name was Lindsay Boone Whiteley. I have a Whiteley family tree. Where do you fit in?
Sue

They wer married in Missouri in 1850 or 1852. They went by wagon train to Oregon and settled in what is now Willamette Valley. Cassandra is the daughter of Lindsey Boone and Sarah Grooms. Cassandra died in Adams Oregon in 1911. She is buried in a pioneer cemetery near Helix, OR.

I can send you a copy of my Whiteley/Boone family research in PDF form. I live in Hermiston Oregon with my wife Kathy.
