Maggie - Yes you really should know that AoT is the Tasmanian Archives web site and most of the records of the 76,000 Tas convicts are on line.

AoT changed their web address recently and I haven't noted the new one but you can reach them through Yahoo (or Google. Choose Name Index/convicts/enter name of convict Christie/choose the one per George/his details open with three records i.e. Con 31/Con 14 (not available) and Con 18. Click on the one you want and the book with the record will open. As said for Con 31 the page is 314, I did look at Con 18 and he is on Page 210 but with the spelling Christy. Pity about Con 14 as this would have given you details of his native place and relatives.
The records are downloadable - best from the Enlarged view.
