Hi
My aunt has done the family tree and it seems that Francis Alsop 1795 or 98 to 1861 was a sailer of liverpool before being sentend]ced to a life term in Australia. He arrived in Sydney in 1816 in the ship Elizabeth. He became a tenat farmer eventually and shared his home with nn Warwick, daughter of Elizabeth Smith a convict arriving in Sydney in 1811 with her 8 year old daughter Anne from England. Elizabeth later married Joseph Eyles who was a tenant farmer. Francis and Anne had 5 sons.

I can give you more info if you are still interested. Regards

Colleen Wootton (nee Allsopp

I am interested in the women on the convict ship Friends. I saw your post about the above and that she lived with Francis Aslop. Do you have any more information about Ann? How do you know she is the daughter of the Elizabeth Smith who came on the Friends?
Any information appreciated.
