My gr, gr, gr, gr grandfather was Alexander Boyd/e. He was transported on the Isabella on 9/3/1822 from Antrim, Northern Ireland to Sydney. He was 40 years of age. His wife was Margaret Eccles (married c. 1810). Has anyone any connection or other details?

Alexander Boyd/e is my gr gr gr gr grandfather.
I have found that he arrived on the Isabella in 1822.
His wife Margaret and three children arrived on the Sir Joseph Banks in 1828.I believe many convict wives and families arrived about this time.
His eldest son Patrick who married Jane Mcfarlane is my gr gr gr grandfather.
Alexander received a ticket of leave and was working as a labourer in the 1828 census.

I believe I am also related to Patrick Boyd(e) whose daughter, Mary Jane Boyd, was my paternal great-great- grandmother. I have been in touch with someone descended from Ruth Boyd, sister of Patrick. Please contact me if you wish to share information.
