Hi Debbie, there are 2 people I would like to find out about, if they married and when and where in Australia they died.

1. Mary Ann HOWARD, b. 1833 in Surrey England, emigrated to Adelaide SA in 1850 with her parents Robert and Ellen Howard and 5 siblings.

2. Charles Alfred HOWARD, b. 1851 in Adelaide. He is one of Mary Ann's brothers.

Thank you for any assistance.
Gale

Debbie,

I am hoping you can help me. I am looking for information on my gggrandfather Charles Wilfred HAY. According to death and marriage certificates that I have he was born about 1860 in Wales. He migrated to Australia circa 1884 as he was married in Moonta South Australia around this time. I have searched some SA records for him and have only come up with his death and marriage certificates. What I really want to know is when he arrived, where he arrived and on what ship. He may have arrived in another port in Australia, but all this I don't know. This has been bugging me for a number of years and I really hope you can help.

Regards

Steve HAY

Hi Debbie

I am trying to find relatives in Australia.
My aunt Gladys Zilpah Rose Sharman emigrated to Australia c1922. She was born in the UK in 1904. Her first husband was Thomas Owen Barwell, I think they married in Victoria c1927, they had two sons Max & Westley. She married again to someone called Donnally/Donnelly and had two more children Wendy & Roy. I think she died in the late 1950's but can't be sure.
If you are able to help this would be much appreciated

Denise

I know your post was from a while ago but I would really appreciate it if you could look up two elusive ancestors. First one is a Hugh Fitzpatrick Snr who married and had a family in Geelong Victoria in the 1840s.
The other is Elizabeth James who came to Tasmania as a convict, married Thomas Ingham, then moved to Victoria and later used the name Hannah Goodwill.
Thank you so much Loretta

Hi Debbie,

I don't know if you can help, however I am looking for any children to Harold Edward Langlois and Lylie Maud Wills. Harold was born in 1896 in Edmonton, London, England in 1896 and Lylie in 1901. They married on 7 Feb 1929 at St Mary's Church, Wallaroo, South Australia. I know he died on 30 May 1962 at Mt Gambier and she died in 1976 in the same place. I believe they remained in South Australia and am seeking some help as I don't have access to South Australia BMD records.

If you could help this would be great.

Regards

Michael

Hi

I'm trying to find any information on John (Jack) Webster and Mary Webster (nee Miller). The only information I have been able to find is that they had two children in Deniliquin in NSW, Charles Frederick born 1866 and William born 1867. I have found records of Charles Frederick (my great grandfather)in Birdsville Queensland from 1893 and onwards until his death ,but can't find any trace of John, Mary before the birth of their children or thereafter including any trace of william. Appreciate anything you may be able to find out. Mnay thanks

Gordon

Hi Matt,
sorry for the long delay, I am reading all my "Old" messages..

He died 2008. aged 85
Fawkner Memorial Park wishes to advise that the location of the cremated remains of the late Francis Campbell Breen who passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, aged 85 were removed from the cemetery.

There is no listing for his wife so it is possible she is still living. Due to privacy laws you are not able to obtain his death certificate but Mary can be checked on the national electoral roll. Melbourne is where Frank died so that's where they lived.

Regards

Debbie.
