New to this.How do I go about finding John MvKinnon.Scottish birth,Soldier in Australian army, have that info. How do I procede to trace him after left army.

If we knew which approximately when he was in the Army, even that would help.

If you have the War stuff then it should give some clues. (State/area and NOK)
The only Scottish John Mckinnon I see on War Archives are all from NSW.

NSW BDM to check deaths/marriages for him

Ancestry has Electoral Rolls that may include him. Porbably a few so you would need an area he lived or family members names to be sure.

There might be alot more but as was already posted, unless you suppy more details noone really has any idea where to start checking..
