Thank you so much for directing me to this site. Yes, it appears that Godegrand Abraham was the son of Jean Abraham Desmarais. However, without the mother's name, it's impossible to tell with certainty. I'm assuming that the records must no longer exist in this part of France. If you have any other information on this family, it would be greatly appreciated.
