Hi,
I am an Otto from Manitoba. My husband's grandmother was Mary Adolph - one of the daughters of Michael Adolph and Christina Margaretta Heinz. Mary had sisters Amalia (married Jacob Steinhauer), Bertha (married a Mr. Schaaf) and Elisabeth (married Peter Leob). Mary married Heinrich Otto, Jr. - thus our family. They must have been living in Lydiatt, MB at one time as this is where Mary Adolph and Heinrich Otto were married in 1907.There were also brothers - John, Henry, August and Fred Adolph. You must descend from one of them. Mary Adolph and Heinrich Otto were actually second cousins - both their mothers were Heinzes. I have lots of info on the Heinz family going back to the 1600's.
Happy to share info with you.
Linda

Hello,

My great grandparents were Michael and Christina Adolf from Bangert. Their youngest daughter Elizabeth, was my grandmother. She married Peter LOEB (you have a miss-spelling. Their 8th child, Irmengard Marie LOEB, married Leslie Stuart James. They were my parents. I still live in Lydiatt, and would be happy to share what information I have, take photos etc.
