Looking to make a connection with relations of Mary Ellen Aikens of Nova Scotia who married William John Couch of Usborne Township, Huron County, Ontario. They married in Hullet Township, Huron County, Ontario and had a few children before moving to Gosfield, Essex County, Ontario where William John Couch died shortly after. Mary Ellen (Aikens) Couch then married Emery Nelson from the Essex County area and had one known child together before Emery Nelson died early as well - leaving Mary Ellen (Aikens-Couch) Nelson to continue operating the farm, as well as, raise the children proper; good work Mary!
